Mother Goose Popcorn

Mother Goose Popcorn

1 c. light corn syrup 1 (3 oz) package Jell-O
1 c sugar 5 qt. Popped corn
Boil Karo and sugar 1 minute.  Stir in Jell-O.  Pour over popcorn.  Shape into balls.
or

1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla 
8 cups popped popcorn

Mix milk and sugar in a sauce pan on med. heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved.  Remove from heat and add vanilla and food coloring, stir.  Pour over the popcorn stir, spread on a pan to dry.


I'm not sure which recipe she used, I think the first one but I remember visiting Grandma in the summer and making this bright pink popcorn to eat while watching Johnny Carson or the Lawrence Welk show.  Good memories.
